Install in 5 steps
-
Download and unzip
Download the zip above and unzip it (double-click on Mac, Extract all on Windows). Move the unzipped folder somewhere permanent, such as Documents. Chrome keeps reading the extension from that folder, so don't delete or move it afterwards.
-
Open the extensions page
Type
chrome://extensionsin the address bar and press Enter. On Brave usebrave://extensions, on Edgeedge://extensions. -
Turn on Developer mode
Switch on the Developer mode toggle at the top right of the page. Chrome only installs extensions from a folder while it is on. It doesn't change anything else in your browser.
-
Load the folder
Click Load unpacked (top left) and choose the unzipped folder, the one that contains
manifest.json. Peony now appears in your extensions list. -
Pin it and sign in
Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin ZenInsure Peony. Click the Peony flower to open the side panel, then sign in with your
@zeninsure.idGoogle account.
Using it
Open the side panel, type a lead id, tick the sections you need (Customer, Vehicle, Policy, Documents) and press Look up. On an AppSheet or Google Form page, press Fill current page. Peony never submits or saves the form for you.
Updating
Download the new zip, unzip it over the same folder (replace the files), then open chrome://extensions and click the reload arrow on the Peony card.
If something goes wrong
- "Manifest file is missing or unreadable"
- You picked the zip, or a folder one level too high. Choose the folder that directly contains
manifest.json. - I can't see the Developer mode toggle
- A work-managed browser may hide it. Ask IT, or use a personal Chrome profile.
- Sign-in is refused
- Only
@zeninsure.idGoogle accounts are accepted. Pick that account in the Google window. - "Cannot reach API"
- Check your internet connection and retry. If it persists, tell the Peony owner.
